Menus are written and analyzed by Valley's dietitians following the meal patterns in accordance with each program. Our menus will meet 1/3 of the recommended daily allowances. Valley's objective is to write a regionally popular menu which also addresses the religious, ethnic and cultural preferences of the participants. With that in mind, special events and/or holiday menus are also planned.

Valley is acutely aware of the dietary needs of each senior participant. Menu planning, food selection and meal preparation concerns are standardized components of our Senior Nutrition Systems. Menus are designed and tested to include:

  • Low sodium and low fat products
  • High fiber content products
  • No salt added at preparation time
  • All items moderately seasoned
  • Meals are presented in a pleasing manner

We understand that each Senior Nutrition client has their own needs, and we are prepared to individualize menus to meet the needs of your seniors.
